WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE MEET, AND YOU: In humility before our great God and as followers of Christ, we recognize that we are a rescued people — forgiven by God through Jesus Christ and set apart for His service (See Colossians 1:9-14). We meet in an historic building at 422 Church Street in Clinton, Wisconsin to worship our great God, submit ourselves to the authority of His Word and enjoy fellowship with each other. We are serious about learning what it means to be disciples of Jesus Christ and practicing it. Have you thought much about Jesus recently? His claims and teaching and finished work are just too incredible to ignore. We welcome you to join us and discover life as child of God or continue to grow up in Him!
What Should I Do … Today?

Our todays tend to get pretty full of all the busy-ness of life. We tend to make urgent things our priorities and turn aside important things we ought to think about. The thing about today is … we never really know if we will get a tomorrow. There is One who has tomorrow in His hands, and He is God — Ruler, Creator, Lord over all. If there is Someone we should think about, it’s Him. But most people write Him off as the “Man Upstairs” who you can’t really know much about so why bother? Just be good and if you played your cards right, He’ll probably let you into the good place when you die.
We at Clinton Bible Church are convinced that the Bible is God’s book where He reveals Himself, His plans and His purposes to anyone who will listen. The Bible tells us that God created all things to be good — even people! — and He intended to cultivate a close relationship with mankind. But we disobeyed and a wall of hostility was built up between man and God because of us. This affected all of creation. We can’t be good enough to change any of this. God did not give up on us, though. His intention was still to create a people of His very own who would know His love and care and be an inheritance with Him forever in heaven. The only way to tear down the wall was to send His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life and then to die for us — to take the penalty for our sins so we would not have to pay this eternal debt. The Bible says if we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all the bad because of Jesus’ great sacrifice. Jesus did not remain dead as some have claimed through history, but He arose from the dead and so has secured deliverance from sin and death for those who believe in Him. Do you believe in this Jesus? Do you know God in the sense that you have a relationship with Him that goes on forever? The Bible says that Today is the day of salvation — it urges us not to wait around while we pursue all of our temporal things that will never last beyond the grave and cannot bring us to the love of God.
If you have never confessed your sin to God and reached out to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you have something to do Today. Please, friend, pray and ask Him to save you and submit your life to Him. If you do, he will come to you today and you will be forgiven as one of His very own children. Email us or call us if you have done this or if you want to know more. This is the “gospel” that Christians talk about — the Good News of Jesus Christ — and we, at Clinton Bible Church, are passionate about it. Give us the chance to tell you more.
